Suave - Hair Care and Personal Care Products
Suave is a shampoo brand that come along away as early as 1937 when it was first produced in the United States. It actually started out as a hair tonic, though it eventually expanded its line to other hair care products. During the 1970′s, The company was bought by Helene Curtis Industries Inc., which then decided to introduce other personal care products to the line. Unilever then bought the brand in the 1990′s and positioned Suave as a value brand compared to high end products. Aside from shampoo, Suave also has lotions, soaps and deodorant products.
